We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our software engineering team in Ghent, Belgium. In this role, you will contribute to QSimulate’s software development that serves clients to make it more robust, efficient, and user-friendly.

Role

    • Managing QSimulate's cloud deployments in the development and production environments.
    • Streamlining QSimulate’s software platform delivery and maintenance.
    • Developing and maintaining testable and efficient software primarily in Python and JavaScript.
    • Improving and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and consistent deployments.
    • Participating in decision-making processes for architectural design and software strategy.
    • Contributing to the company’s cybersecurity efforts.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of professional experience in software development.
  • 3-5 years of management experience with the ability to make architectural decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build scalable, high-availability applications.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Python and JavaScript and with CI/CD tools and SQL databases.
  • Experience with IaC tools and proficiency with AWS cloud services.
  • Ability to work in agile, fast-paced environments, adapt to learning new programming languages when necessary, and be fluent in English.
  • Experience in technology, engineering, and/or pharmaceutical industries is a plus.
